NSC Board Update March 2017

It’s been another busy month at Nunawading with many swim meets held and some hard training being completed.

This month we welcomed the following new members to the club: Lily Koch, Tiffany Lam, Jessica Moana Wilson, Oliver Hall, Charlotte Merrilees, Mia Moutsios, Riley Collins, Eric Zhang, Holly White, Lachlan Witt, Samantha Roche, Karen McIntyre, Kira Lili Dobradi, Abby Ruoyun Zhao and Adele Haiyan Wang.

We also had a few swimmers finish up at the club over the past few months. We would like to wish every success to Chelsea Mueller, Daniel Perry, Liam Donohue, Sam Greatorex, Adrian Tan, Mary Chan, Meave Bohanna & Ruben Hayes and thank them for their contribution to the Club.

At the March Board Meeting, President Iain Watson congratulated all swimmers who competed at the Tasmanian and NSW Championships on their performances. We also have 86 swimmers competing at this weekend’s Metro All Junior Competition and Iain wished them every success.

Nunawading Swimming Club has been selected by Swimming Australia as a High Performance Centre for the next four years. We look forward to working with Swimming Australia towards ensuring our environment and the support provided to our swimmers and coaches is world class.

A review has been completed on all aspects of the Just Swimming swim school programs. The outcomes from the review were presented to the Board and included exciting new certificate levels for all the participants. The review recommendations will be implemented through 2017.
